Welcome back!

Here is some important information for the return to school this year!

Meet & Greet - all students are invited to come visit the school on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 3rd, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Students are welcome to come tour the school, see where their classes are, and meet their teachers before the first day of school. 

First Day of Classes - the first day of classes for Grade 11 and 12 students will be Thursday, September 4th. Period 1 starts at 8:50am. The first day of classes for Grade 9 and 10 students will be Friday, September 5th, again at 8:50am. Students will follow their regular timetable on those days. 

Student Schedules - right now, student schedules are anticipated to be emailed out to students and parents in the afternoon/evening of August 29th. Students will need to check their divisional email for the schedule or see their schedule in the PowerSchool App.

Schedule Changes - Counsellors return to school on Tuesday, September 2nd and will be doing schedule changes as their time allows. You are welcome to email your grade-level counsellor about course changes, but please understand that there will be many requests and they will handle them in the order they are received. Unless a student has met with a counsellor and changed their courses, students are expected to follow their timetable as it is shown. Currently, many classes are full and not all timetable requests may be possible. Please be patient with this process, as there can be over a hundred change requests for one counsellor to deal with.
